The Carbon Canyon evening rush
hour going east is legendary. Traffic is barely at a crawl. Then an
accident or fire happens in the Canyon or somebody in Olinda Village
or Hollydale has a heart attack. Responding emergency personnel have
no choice but to rush into oncoming traffic around blind corners.
It has already been detailed how this Project will make traffic
significantly worse and then you add 400-500 new residents to the
Canyon. This is just a disaster waiting to happen, either in the
form of an accident involving responding emergency personnel, or in
the form of responding emergency personnel not being able to get to
the site of an emergency on a timely basis.

The next time there is a major emergency in Carbon Canyon, having
those additional 400 - 500 residents to join in the evacuation only
adds to the communal fun!
